Eating a low-fat diet made up of lean proteins and vegetables is one way to lose body fat. Avoid sugar, starches, alcohol, and processed foods.
Reducing your carbohydrate intake will also help: Foods with a low glycemic index help with weight loss, according to the Harvard School of Public Health.

Strength training will help build muscle tone and smooth out cellulite. Focus on basic compound exercises!
Try to train your lower body at least twice a week, gradually increasing the weight to challenge your muscles. Some of the most effective exercises for the lower body include:
