Training legs 2 days in a row
Ladies…if you want beautiful legs and a great butt, don’t forget to train your….UPPER BODY!
You’re probably wondering what your back, chest, arm, and shoulder workouts have to do with glute training. The answer: EVERYTHING!
As I always explain on my IG, the most effective exercises for building muscle in your butt and legs are compound movements, such as squats, stiff-legged deadlifts, leg presses, deadlifts, lunges…
And in many of them, you use YOUR HANDS to hold the bar, or rest it on your back…
Why upper-body training matters
So, if you don’t have strength in your arms, forearms, and back, you won’t be able to lift a significant amount of weight to build muscle in your lower body
Take the stiff-legged deadlift, for example… Anyone who does stiff-legged deadlifts knows this… It’s one of the best exercises for glutes and hamstrings, but it depends a lot on having a good grip and core strength. After a few reps, your forearms and wrists start to complain, right? And maybe your lower back complains a little (or a lot), too.
All this is because your upper-body muscles aren’t being strengthened, or at least not in the same way as your leg and glute muscles.
Forget the myth about becoming “masculine”
And please don’t tell me you don’t want to become “masculine.” That’s not going to happen, especially because of the hormonal differences between men and women.
.
Women produce about 20 times less testosterone than men… rest assured, none of you will become masculine! Quite the opposite…you’ll be #hotgirls!
Training legs on consecutive days: is it worth it?
Whether or not you can train the same muscle group two days in a row is a controversial topic in the fitness industry.
Many trainers agree that training small muscle groups, such as the calves, on consecutive days is fine, but there’s still some disagreement about whether or not you can train your glutes on consecutive days.
Sometimes, you have no choice but to train your legs two days in a row. You may also simply enjoy training the same muscle group on two consecutive days.

If you already have experience following a high-volume or high-frequency training program, your body is already used to training the same muscle group several times a week.
You’ll be able to transition more easily to a routine where you train your lower body on consecutive days.
Women don’t find it easy to build muscle, right? Still, many people are afraid to train hard because they don’t want to be “big” like men. Stop thinking about size and consider body shape.
Aesthetically speaking, muscles are what give the body a beautiful shape. So, increase your training load to achieve your goal. Then keep adding weight.
Remember that one of the biggest mistakes in strength training is not having a clear goal.
