Weight training or cardio for weight loss
Weight training or cardio? Weight training helps burn fat at rest!📌How can weight training help you lose fat…since it doesn’t burn that many calories and doesn’t put you much in the fat-burning zone?❓
The straightforward answer isn’t what happens DURING your workout…but rather AFTER your workout, because fat utilization increases in the hours following strength training.
📌Weight training, as long as the workout IS PROPERLY GUIDED, can speed up fat loss throughout the day, helping you lose more weight than low- and moderate-intensity cardio❗️With your metabolism revved up, you keep burning fat for a long time after physical activity.
Weight loss myths
📌There are many myths surrounding weight loss and fat loss. The fact is…diet is always the main factor…combined with a good weight-training program!! It’s no mystery!
Weight training alongside a diet to lose fat
Weight training requires careful planning and the right intensity to be truly effective. If you can’t keep up with the sessions, you won’t see results. I’ve seen some women make many other mistakes, such as cheating on or restricting their diets.
Tempo (the regularity of movements) is a more important variable than simply increasing the “weight,” since indiscriminately increasing the load can affect your range of motion and compromise proper exercise form, and in extreme cases can cause unwanted injuries.
Exercise tempo can be prescribed as 1010, 2020, 3010, etc. The first number refers to the phase moving with the weight, while the second refers to the transition phase, from concentric to eccentric.
The third number refers to the phase moving against the weight, and the fourth number is also a transition phase leading back to the first number.

If you think proper posture doesn’t affect your gains, I have bad news. It does! And this is one of the key points to getting results with light weights.
Good posture means quality of life and physical health. This should be taken into account not only when performing daily tasks or in the way we sit, but also when performing exercises during your workout.
All of this will affect your training results and make weight training less effective.
