How to lose belly fat
The term diet comes from the Greek “díaita,” meaning “way of life.” Unfortunately, for many people, diet means “sacrifice” or giving something up.
That’s where the misconception lies… and if you think that way, you’re unlikely to reach your goals… I’m not talking just about appearance, but the most important things: health and quality of life!
Diet strategies
Research has shown that most nutritional strategies lead to modest weight loss, of approximately 8–10% of total body weight over 6 months. The studies analyzed show that fat loss levels off after 3–6 months. And now for the bad news: only 20% of people who lose weight are able to maintain their results after 3 years.
In summary
The biggest challenge is maintaining weight loss over the long term. You can’t view a “diet” as a process of deprivation, because failure is almost certain, and the “yo-yo effect” will be inevitable! Think of it as a WAY OF LIFE!
A friend’s advice on losing belly fat
Don’t diet on your own; consult a nutritionist! In the medium and long term, your investment will be WELL worth it! Not just for your appearance, but MAINLY for your health!
How to lose belly fat faster
Belly fat is common for many people, and it’s a frequent target area for anyone looking to lose weight. But why is it so challenging to see progress when it comes to losing belly fat compared with, say, fat on your legs, arms, or face?
If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. Even people who follow the strictest exercise routines and diets find it difficult to reduce belly fat.
In the abdominal area, you have both subcutaneous adipose tissue and visceral adipose tissue. Subcutaneous fat, the adipose tissue beneath the skin, is easier to target.
Losing belly fat won’t happen overnight, but it’s not impossible. To lose belly fat and show off your abs, you’ll most likely need to make some changes to the way you currently eat (this really depends on your genetics, and I recommend consulting a registered dietitian) and stay consistent with your exercise routine.

Since every body adapts differently to changes in nutrition and exercise, there’s no universal timeframe for how long it will take to achieve the results you’re looking for, nor is there a perfect workout plan to follow.
You may start seeing results around the six-week mark, but this varies from person to person, so don’t give up! If your goal is to lose belly fat and see your abs, keep reading for my advice.
