Discouraged by your workouts
📌Not seeing results from your gym workouts can be incredibly discouraging, and it’s why many people give up exercising prematurely.
There are also situations where someone achieves a certain result but can’t seem to make further progress. Why does this happen? Here are a few factors.
💪🏼Sometimes it’s not that you aren’t making progress… The problem is that we constantly want to see things change overnight, but that’s not how it works—especially when it comes to your body. It takes a certain amount of time and dedication to your gym workouts before you see visible changes.
🍛Nutrition has a huge impact on your workout results!
You can only achieve lasting results by combining proper nutrition with exercise. Your diet should be tailored to your goal, for example: are you trying to lose weight or build muscle? That changes your entire diet!
Lack of focus and organization can undermine your results!
45-minute workout sessions… four times a week are more than enough to get good results! Just ask any of my clients I’ve tagged in my stories! Another problem is when people get to the gym and end up getting distracted instead of focusing on their workout.
Find good professionals!
This is a delicate subject… but it should be an important factor in your decision… a good professional will never promise overnight miracles and, beyond any aesthetic goal, will care about YOUR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING!
Discouraged by your workouts? Don’t rely on motivation to work out
Maybe you’re not sore, stressed, or even tired. Maybe you’re just having a bad day or simply feeling lazy and unmotivated to work out. That’s why you should work out on those days.
You won’t always feel like working out, but if nothing is really wrong, sometimes you need to do it anyway. Exercising when you don’t feel like it helps build inner strength, and you’ll also feel the benefits of a boost in positive endorphins.
Remember, there will always be days when you don’t feel like working out. The key is knowing what to do on those days. Listen to your body: know when it’s time to take a step back and relax, know when it’s time to switch things up or change your routine, and know when it’s time to do the planned workout anyway.
