How many repetitions should I do?
📌Are 8 repetitions for building muscle and 15 repetitions for cutting?❓IS THAT TRUE❓
🔥This is one of the biggest MYTHS IN WEIGHT TRAINING!
Doing more repetitions won’t speed up fat burning!!
💥Remember…Every workout, when properly prescribed, aims to build lean muscle and lose fat 😉 What will boost this or not is your diet 😉 there is no properly designed workout, of course, that will “decrease” your lean muscle mass… believe me 😉 Fat loss happens uniformly…not in specific areas… it’s impossible to lose fat in just one part of the body.
🔥What will make someone lose weight and burn fat is the combination of a WELL-PRESCRIBED weight training program with a diet designed to consume fewer calories than they burn each day. This puts the body in a calorie deficit, so it will draw on its fat stores to make up the difference.
💥It’s important to mention that the greater your muscle mass, the higher your daily calorie expenditure, because muscle needs more energy to function. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn each day. That’s why weight training is so important in the weight-loss process!
Light weights or heavy weights?
You don’t need very heavy weights to build muscle. That’s a myth, and it needs to be debunked! By using a full range of motion and controlling your tempo, you can achieve great results.
You should make sure to perform full-range movements during your workouts, because poor exercise form combined with heavy weights can cause serious injuries. And that’s not what you want, is it?
So always keep in mind that the weight you lift isn’t the main thing to focus on during your workout.

Think of your workout as a whole. Use a full range of motion, control your tempo, and pay close attention to your form when performing exercises. Doing fewer repetitions won’t help you much.
This will definitely help you see greater results in less time!
