Treadmill every day: is it necessary?
The need to use the treadmill every day is a very common question among people who want to lose weight.
I don’t recommend it, nor do I recommend moderate- or long-duration, low-intensity cardio for fat loss. If you do it for leisure and enjoyment, that’s fine, but it’s already well known that these aren’t the best strategy for getting rid of fat.
You could run from here to the moon and the amount you’d lose would be negligible, so using the treadmill every day isn’t effective. It would be convenient for me to recommend that you run 5 km a day… but it wouldn’t get you anywhere. Focus on your diet and don’t waste your time exercising.
It depends on what you enjoy
If you do it for leisure, that’s fine! Do it because you enjoy it. Never deprive yourself of an exercise or healthy activity that brings you pleasure, okay?
The treadmill is a good cardio workout
Perhaps the best-known health benefit of treadmills is their ability to help people lose weight quickly and efficiently.
Treadmills can help you burn calories faster than some other forms of aerobic exercise. The faster and longer a person runs on a treadmill, the faster they burn calories and the easier it is to lose weight.
Working out on a treadmill with HIIT workouts is one of the best ways to reduce body fat quickly and safely. However, low-intensity treadmill workouts can also help reduce body fat, although the results may not be as immediate.
Walking or running on an incline, or alternating between sprints and jogging, is also a great way to lose weight while exercising on a treadmill.

Treadmill workouts provide exceptional cardiovascular exercise that can significantly improve heart health.
In fact, treadmill workouts are a popular form of cardiovascular exercise because they can maintain a steady heart rate throughout the workout. This can be particularly beneficial for people with cardiovascular problems or high cholesterol.
Cardio workouts are effective at increasing your heart rate to a healthy level, so they’re also very beneficial as a warm-up. Raising your heart rate to a healthy level will allow you to perform other exercises, such as strength training or other cardiovascular exercises, more safely and successfully.
Maintaining proper posture while running on a treadmill will engage your core muscles even more and provide a more complete workout. In addition, pairing treadmill exercise with light strength training will help engage your arm muscles during the workout.
