Can you eat bread while dieting?
Text by Cleydson Sobral
🥖 In the age of social media, it’s very common for people to speak badly about specific foods, and bread is one of the most criticized.
🥖Of course, whole-grain bread may be the best option because of its fiber and micronutrients. But the context of your plan will always be the most important thing.
🥖The good is not the enemy of the great; in other words, never compare bread with a piece of fruit, for example.
🥖No, you won’t die because of wheat that has undergone various “modifications” compared to the time of Jesus Christ.
🥖Balance, responsibility, common sense, and identifying the triggers that lead you to overeat and that you can’t control can help make your plan sustainable.
Understand food weights
🥖Just out of curiosity, 100 g of French bread contains about 300 kcal / 8 g protein / 3.1 g fat / 58.6 g carbs. A French roll weighs about 50 g.
🥖Understand that eating for pleasure can be an important tool for recognizing satiety cues.
Finally, consider your overall dietary context, because a simple little roll won’t hinder your weight-loss process. Most importantly, you can enjoy your food without feeling guilty.
Is it really that hard to understand, or am I going to have to draw you a picture?

Bread while dieting: yes or no?
Once again, the advice is: always seek professional support. This applies not only to weight training, which should be guided by a physical education professional, but also to your diet and supplementation, which should be guided by a nutritionist.
It seems simple… it actually is… haha. The big secret is CONSISTENCY!
