More weight or more reps?
Lighter weights deliver results just as well as heavy weights. Yes! You read that right! After all, “intensity,” which is our goal here, should be understood as a qualitative concept, where sets, reps, etc., together with other variables such as tempo, range of motion, and rest intervals, will bring about acute changes in our body.
Nutrition is what makes the difference
Always remember that every workout, when properly prescribed, aims to build lean muscle and lose fat 😉 What will enhance that—or not—is YOUR NUTRITION 😉 there is no well-designed workout that will “reduce” your lean muscle mass… believe me 😉
And training to failure is the most important thing, because you can train with heavy weights and low intensity and/or with light weights and high intensity!
Few reps with heavy weights?
You don’t need very heavy weights to build muscle. That’s a myth, and it needs to be busted! By using the full range of motion and controlling your tempo, you can achieve great results.
You should always focus on performing complete movements during your workout, because poor exercise form combined with heavy weights can lead to serious injuries. And that’s not what you want, right?
So always keep in mind that the weights are not the main thing you should focus on during your workout.

Think of your workout as a whole. Use a full range of motion, control your tempo during each rep, and pay close attention to your posture while exercising. Few reps won’t help you much.
This will definitely help you see better results in less time!
