Shyness and discomfort at the gym
Many people feel embarrassed to walk into a gym simply because they would be in the same space as people who are healthy and have beautiful, sculpted bodies. I’ve noticed some cases of women who don’t even look at themselves in the mirror during their workouts because they’re unhappy with their own physiques.
Encourage others
If you go to the gym, are used to the environment, and are in great shape, welcome new members who are overweight (many due to glandular problems or emotional imbalances) without making jokes…
No ironic looks… Try to encourage them and praise their positive results during their workouts!
And finally… Be someone who encourages others. The world already has enough critics.
Improve your self-esteem and invest in your training
You can change this situation. Invest in a good workout and a good diet, and don’t be afraid to take on this challenge. Always remember that every workout, when prescribed correctly, aims to build lean muscle and lose fat!
Exercise has many benefits, one of which is improved self-esteem. Exercise can help you feel more comfortable with yourself and boost your self-confidence.
According to research, physical activity is directly and indirectly related to self-esteem. One of the most important ways exercise can boost your self-esteem is by helping you look better, but building muscle and losing weight are just the beginning.
