Shyness and discomfort at the gym
“I feel shy at the gym.” Many people are embarrassed to walk into a gym simply because they’ll be in the same space as healthy people with attractive, sculpted bodies. I’ve noticed a few cases of women who don’t even look in the mirror during their workouts because they’re unhappy with their own physiques.
Encourage others
If you go to the gym, are already comfortable there, and have a great physique, welcome new members who are overweight (many are dealing with glandular problems or emotional imbalances) without making jokes…
Don’t give them ironic looks… try to encourage them and praise their positive results during their workouts!
And finally… Be someone who encourages others. The world already has enough critics.
Improve your self-esteem and invest in your training
You can change this situation and stop feeling shy at the gym. Invest in a good workout plan and a good diet, and don’t be afraid to face this challenge. Always remember that every workout, when properly prescribed, aims to build lean muscle and lose fat!
Exercise has many benefits, one of which is improved self-esteem. Exercise can help you feel more comfortable with yourself and boost your confidence.

Research shows that physical activity is directly and indirectly related to self-esteem. One of the most important ways exercise can boost your self-esteem is by helping you look better, but building muscle and losing weight are just the beginning.
Genetics does play a role in muscle hypertrophy, since it determines the size of muscle fibers and hormone release, but these factors can also be affected by everyday habits. In other words… STAY FOCUSED!!
