How do you do a kick?
Outlandish and acrobatic exercises circulate on social media every day. Some are ineffective, others are ineffective and harmful…
High kicks… donkey kicks, spins, somersaults, etc., etc., and so on
Focus on compound exercises and forget trendy exercises
Please, I’ve mentioned this many times, but it’s always good to remember… lol don’t try to reinvent the wheel and don’t jump on the bandwagon of some influencer who does little kicks in the air and says the exercise is good for your butt…
Stick to the tried-and-true basics
Squats… lunges… leg press… stiff-leg deadlifts… and if needed, one or two isolation exercises are fine!
Ignore exercises like kicks and do a good workout
Want to build muscle? Ditch the kick and train properly, without forgetting to rest.
Don’t skip steps! Don’t skip steps!

If you train legs hard on Monday, for example, and can train legs again on Wednesday, I have two things to tell you: 1st, you’ll hinder muscle growth, because muscle “repair” and, consequently, muscle growth happen during rest; 2nd, if you can train the same muscle group on Monday and Wednesday, you haven’t pushed hard enough and/or done enough volume—in other words, your workout is garbage!
Choose a weight that allows you to FAIL within the pre-established number of reps. For example: if it says 8 reps, aim to fail on the seventh or eighth rep. If you fail on the ninth or tenth, increase the weight. If you fail on the fifth or sixth rep, decrease the weight.
