Best exercises for glutes and legs
First of all, every case is different, but if you don’t have any physical limitations, prioritize compound exercises such as squats, lunges, leg presses, and stiff-legged deadlifts. Here are a few more tips:
Avoid trendy exercises
If it’s already difficult to build glutes with the “fantastic four”… imagine trying with the crazy things many influencers do.
Prioritize tempo and range of motion
Movement tempo as a variable is more important than simply increasing the “weight,” since indiscriminately increasing the load can limit your range of motion and compromise proper exercise form, and in extreme cases can cause unwanted injuries.
Get enough rest
Forget the idea that “more is better”… Many people get it wrong because, in their eagerness to get better results, they overdo their training frequency.
Training glutes every day isn’t the best strategy. The more intense your workout, the longer your rest period should be.
Best exercises for glutes and legs
The usual basics… barbell squats, lunges, leg presses, stiff-legged deadlifts… Nothing complicated!
Remember: it’s important to understand that all compound movements, such as squats, single-leg lunges, and leg presses, work both the back and front of the thigh (quadriceps), as well as the glutes!! Simply put: whenever you use a compound exercise to train your “legs,” you’re also training your butt… and vice versa.

There are variations we can do to emphasize one area or another, but it’s not possible to completely isolate the muscles mentioned during these compound exercises!
And training your LOWER BODY on consecutive days will NOT provide any benefit!
