Glutes 3 times a week
Is your training periodized?
Good. To start… Periodization is the planning of training, involving the manipulation of variables, rest intervals, sets, intensity techniques, etc.
Why periodization matters
The longer your training lasts, the more important periodization becomes. For example, if your training lasts only one month, it may not make a difference, but from three months onward, periodization can be a game changer.
You need a routine
Can you imagine how crazy it would be not to follow a well-designed workout routine? For these and other reasons, some people spend years at the gym, training for hours a day, with little or NO RESULTS!
This applies to beginners and advanced trainees alike… beginners, so they can make more significant gains in less time, and advanced trainees, to avoid the dreaded plateau!
Does training glutes 3 times a week require heavy weights?
You don’t need very heavy weights to build muscle. That’s a myth, and it needs to be dispelled! By using a full range of motion and controlling your tempo, you can achieve great results.
You should always focus on performing the full range of motion in your workouts, because poor exercise form combined with heavy weights can cause serious injuries during training. And that’s not what you want, is it?

There are variations we can use to emphasize one area or another, but it’s not possible to completely isolate the muscles mentioned in these compound exercises!
And training glutes on consecutive days will NOT provide any benefits!
