How to define your legs
📌Are 8 reps for building muscle and 15 reps for getting lean?❓REALLY❓
.
🔥This is one of the biggest MYTHS IN WEIGHT TRAINING!
Doing more reps won’t speed up fat loss
💥Remember… Every workout, when properly prescribed, aims to build lean muscle and lose fat 😉 What will enhance this or not is your diet 😉 There’s no workout—if it’s done properly, of course—that will “reduce” your lean muscle mass… believe me 😉 Fat loss happens uniformly… not in specific areas… it’s impossible to lose fat from just one part of your body.
.
🔥What will help someone lose weight and lose fat is the combination of a properly prescribed weight-training program and a diet designed to provide fewer calories than you burn each day. This puts your body in a caloric deficit, so it draws on its fat stores to make up the difference.
Calorie expenditure
💥It’s important to note that the greater your muscle mass, the higher your daily calorie expenditure, because muscles need more energy to function. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn each day. That’s why weight training is so important for weight loss!
Follow a good workout plan to define your legs
These muscles (yes, your hamstrings are actually made up of three separate muscles) run along the back of your thighs, from your hips to your knees—and they come into play in almost every leg and lower-body exercise.
Your hamstrings do much of the work of supporting your body and help you climb stairs, walk, or run on an inclined treadmill. Any high-intensity exercise relies on them.
And if you want to squat lower, push farther, and generally be a badass during leg workouts, taking the time for a good hamstring workout is a must.
There’s no secret to getting defined. It takes quality training and a well-planned diet. That way, your daily calorie expenditure increases and, consequently, you’ll have more success losing fat. It’s that simple. And that’s not even counting the aesthetic benefits… a balanced physique is one that’s developed evenly!
