How do you do a kick?
Outlandish and acrobatic exercises circulate on social media every day. Some are ineffective, others are ineffective and harmful…
High kicks… donkey kicks, pirouettes, somersaults, etc., etc.
Focus on compound exercises and forget trendy exercises
Please, I’ve said this many times, but it’s always good to remember… lol don’t make things up and don’t follow the trend of some little fitness influencer who does a little kick upward and says the exercise is good for your butt…
Stick to the basics everyone talks about
Squats… lunges… leg press… stiff-leg deadlifts… and if needed, one or two isolation exercises, okay!
Ignore exercises like kicks and do a good workout
Want to build muscle? Give up the kick and train properly, without forgetting to rest.
Don’t skip steps! Don’t skip steps!

If you train legs hard on Monday, for example, and can train legs again on Wednesday, I have two pieces of news for you: 1st, you’ll hinder muscle growth because it’s during rest that muscle “repair” takes place, and consequently, muscle growth; 2nd, if you can train the same muscle group on Monday and Wednesday, you haven’t set the necessary intensity and/or volume—in other words, your workout is garbage!
Choose a weight that allows you to FAIL within the predetermined number of repetitions. For example: if it says 8 reps… try to reach failure on the seventh or eighth rep… if you fail on the ninth or tenth, increase the weight… if you fail on the fifth or sixth rep, decrease the weight.
