Best exercises for glutes and legs
First of all, every case is different, but if you have no physical restrictions, prioritize compound exercises such as squats, lunges, leg presses, and stiff-leg deadlifts. Here are a few more tips:
Avoid trendy exercises
If it’s already difficult to build your glutes with the “fantastic four”… imagine how much harder it is with the crazy things so many influencers do.
Prioritize tempo and range of motion
Movement tempo, as a variable, is more important than simply increasing the “weight,” since increasing the load indiscriminately can affect your range of motion and compromise proper exercise form, and in extreme cases can cause unwanted injuries.
Adequate rest
Forget the idea that “more is better”… Many people get it wrong because, in their eagerness to get better results, they overdo training frequency.
Training your glutes every day is not the best strategy. The more intense your workout, the longer your rest period should be.
Best exercises for glutes and legs
The usual basics… barbell squats, lunges, leg presses, stiff-leg deadlifts… Nothing complicated!
Remember: it’s important to understand that all compound movements, such as squats, single-leg lunges, and leg presses, work both the back and front of the thigh (quadriceps), as well as the glutes! Simply put: whenever you use a compound exercise to train your “legs,” you’re training your butt too… and vice versa.

There are variations we can do to emphasize one area more than another, but it’s not possible to completely isolate the muscles mentioned during these compound exercises!
And training your LOWER BODY on consecutive days will NOT provide any benefit!
