Fear of getting too big
Ahh, but will strength training make me look masculine? 👎 NOOOOO!!!
Getting big isn’t easy
Don’t worry. Although testosterone is found in both sexes, men produce about twenty times more of it than women, and we all know how hard it is to gain lean muscle mass…
Women simply don’t have enough hormones (testosterone) to gain muscle mass in the same way men do.
Don’t be afraid of building muscle
Getting very big is difficult. Building muscle isn’t easy.
Some women avoid training their arms at the gym, and this even has cultural roots… Many say they would end up looking like a “man.” But you won’t look “masculine.” That won’t happen, mainly because of the hormonal differences between men and women.
Women produce about 20 times less testosterone than men… so don’t worry, none of you will look masculine! Quite the opposite… you’ll look #hot!

Muscle growth can be achieved through a good strength-training workout at the gym! But you need a routine and consistency! Shortcuts in strength training are important for achieving this faster.
Every workout, when properly prescribed, aims to increase lean muscle mass and reduce fat! What makes that happen more effectively—or not—is your diet! There is no well-designed workout, of course, that will “decrease” your lean muscle mass… believe me!
When someone gains muscle mass, their basal metabolic rate increases—the natural number of calories they burn at rest—because their body needs energy to maintain a certain amount of muscle mass. This means your daily calorie expenditure goes up, so if you have a good diet, you’ll burn more calories and have more success reducing body fat. It’s that simple.
